Baby Jewel

"Jewel" is the result of an inbreeding of all our best coursing whippets.  The fact
that she has such beautiful type and conformation is an added bonus.  Her name
which means "the Jewel of the Ocean" derives from the large black heart shape
she has on her show side.  The first weekend she was shown, whippet-breeder
Jean Ueltschy (Wheeling Whippets) awarded her BOB over 5 specials from
the Bred-by Exhibitor class and then a Group 3 !!!  Jewel then easily flew to her
ASFA Field Championship and has LCM points.  A few months later, her half-
sister "Rosebud" (HH Moonlight Becomes Her) was shown under Mrs. Uelstchy
and Jean awarded Rosebud a Group FIRST !!!  The ONLY Whippet she has EVER
given a Group first !!!

After seeing Rosebud, Jean contacted us about buying Jewel and I relented.  So
now Jewel lives in Oklahoma with Jean and Paul who spend their days doting
on her... "lucky dog !!!!"  Jean is showing Jewel, herself, and as a team they have
compiled a few very nice wins !!

Little did Jean know that after seeing Jewel and then Rosebud, that she would
get bitten by the "I have to have another B&W whippet "bug"" and contacted
Robin to talk her out of Jewel !!

Jewel now lives with Jean and is her "Best Friend"

Jean also knits beautiful whippet sweaters in her spare time.  If you would like
